Girls learn about knock-knock jokes from Backyardigans. The girls have learned about knock-knock jokes from the TV show The Backyardigans. The show included the Banana/Orange joke, which A- loves retelling. L- likes this joke too, but doesn’t quite get the concept. The way she tells it, the punchline of the joke is “and then Austin [a character on show] laughed and laughed and laughed”.
