After many years of on-and-off orthodontic work, Anya finally gets her braces off for good. Angela lets Anya celebrate the occasion by taking her to a candy store where she can purchase some caramels and other previously verboten items.
Jan does a training day hike up Mt. Si. He discovers that, although it’s already spring here in Seattle, it’s still winter at the top of the mountain. But it’s a sunny, beautiful day for a hike anyway.
Anya’s getting better and better at ultimate frisbee. Bree’s become interested in learning how to throw and catch, and Anya’s been a good coach to her.
We attend the girls’ school annual auction. Here we’re with our friends Valerie and Brent, parents of a boy in Anya’s class. We’ve known them for 9 years now!
